Role Overview
Reports To: Director, Customer Deployment
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct reporting to the Director of Customer Deployment.
- Requires an Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in the technical aspects of site components including balance of plant/system, EV supply equipment, and technology in various projects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and crisis management.
- Requires frequent travel for site measurements, data aggregation, result interpretation, and designing solutions.
- Instruct and manage qualified workers as necessary.
- Focus on onsite/remote commissioning, field remediation, and project management.
Duties Include:
- Diagnosing and resolving issues using sound engineering principles.
- Ensuring quality and compliance of EV Supply Equipment Solutions.
- Supervising and directing onsite crew; communicating with clients to clarify needs.
- Drafting and submitting detailed technical reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in troubleshooting and commissioning electrical systems.
- Strong proficiency with electrical test equipment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and provide remote support.
- Familiarity with Electrical and Safety Standards, system communication, and controls.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Location: Remote – Canada (West Coast)
